Dr. Marshall Partington

Dr. Marshall PartingtonBorn in Manhattan and raised in New England, I have been practicing plastic surgery since 1991. I am a current member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery as well as Certificate of Advanced Qualification in Surgery of the Hand.

I operate in our fully accredited private Ambulatory Surgery Center. Most importantly, for every procedure I perform at my facility, I have full staff privileges to perform at Evergreen Hospital and Overlake Hospital as well.

Prior to establishing my private practice in Redmond, Washington, I taught plastic surgery as full-time faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where I was Director of Microsurgery and lectured around the world. Subsequently, I was Chief of Plastic Surgery at The Everett Clinic in Everett, Washington, followed by a three-year partnership in Kirkland, Washington.

I received my medical degree in 1983 from Cornell University Medical College in New York City where I was president of my class. I completed an accelerated seven-year program in general surgery at UCLA Medical Center. My formal training in plastic surgery was under the renowned Dr. Joseph McCarthy at New York University. My hand and microsurgery fellowship was in San Francisco under Dr. Harry Buncke, the Father of Microsurgery.

I have had the opportunity to author numerous publications and I have been honored with several scientific and professional awards. With ten years of surgical training and a broad base in practice experience, I offer the complete range of safe and appropriate cosmetic surgical procedures. I am also Medical Education Faculty for the Silhouette Lift.

Giving back is a key aspect of my practice. Since 1992 I have been a volunteer surgeon with Interplast, the first not for profit organization to provide free plastic surgery to poor children around the world. It is a privilege to contribute my skills to children with cleft-lip/palate, birth defects, burns and hand injuries. Over the past 18 years I have also taught surgical techniques to doctors in China, Mongolia, the Philippines, Ecuador, Brazil and, most recently, Mali, Africa, and Viet Nam. I am Honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Healing the Children, another outstanding nonprofit medical organization. Another favorite organization of mine is called Nothing But Nets a grassroots campaign to supply mosquito nets to prevent malaria in Africa.

Choosing Partington Plastic Surgery for your plastic surgery goals supports these global efforts.
