Cosmetic Surgical Procedures

carecreditCosmetic procedures include all procedures that are not considered medically necessary.  They are performed electively.  All cosmetic procedures may be paid for by cash, cashiers check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards. Dr. Partington and Partington Plastic Surgery also accept a variety of outside companies that finance cosmetic surgery, such as; CareCredit, Financing - Cosmetic and will accept any other private institution financing of your choice, such as your credit union.

At the time you decide to reserve a surgical procedure date we will ask for a deposit in relation to your surgical quote.  The entire balance of the quote will be required at your pre-op appointment; which is typically two (2) weeks prior to your procedure date.  At that appointment you should be prepared to have a separate check prepared for the anesthesia portion of the quote.  Puget Sound Anesthesia (PSA) does not accept credit cards or other financing options.

Insurance Covered Procedures

Dr. Partington is contracted with several major insurance companies; Regence, Premera, Aetna, Cigna, Great West and HMA.  Even if we are not contracted with your insurance company, we are still pleased to treat your needs.  It will be your responsibility to know your benefits and plan coverage information.

We will be happy to bill your insurance if we are contracted with them.  In the event that we are not contracted with your insurance carrier, we will accept payment in full from you as if it were a cosmetic procedure and will provide you with the proper paperwork to submit to your carrier as self pay.

Shared Responsibility

In some cases we may be combining an insurance covered procedure with a cosmetic procedure.  At no point will insurance reimbursement cover any cost associated with the cosmetic procedure.  Offset charges are not applicable in any form. All quotes will reflect the fees associated with the cosmetic portion and insurance will dictate the medically necessary portion of the procedure.  Cosmetic payments are not applied to co-pays or deductibles.
